Search current site on Google Chrome

Search current site on Google Chrome

This is an old trick from Firefox’s keyword search. It works with Google Chrome.

  1. Right click on Location Bar
  2. Select Edit search engines
  3. In Search Engines window, click the Add button
  4. In Add Search Engine dialog, type into the URL form:
    javascript:void(location.href='http://www.google.com/search?q=%s+site:'+location.hostname)
    or
    javascript:void(location.href='http://www.google.com/search?q=%s&domains='+location.hostname+'&sitesearch='+location.hostname)
You can name the search engine and keyword to whatever you want.
